Driffield Photographic Society was founded in 1950.

Over the years we have had various 'homes' and for the past few years have resided at the Bell Hotel, Market Place, Driffield. We meet in the Maple Room on Monday evenings from 7:30pm.

There are approximately 40 current members. We have a full and varied programme throughout the year, which includes both internal and external competitions, talks from local photographers on various subjects, ranging from Wildlife photography in Japan and Kenya to Urbex photography in derelict buildings. The members also host club nights which include technical demonstrations, and showing off our work. Our members use all types of camera, from compact to digital SLR (Single Lens Reflex). Not all our members enter competitions, just come along to enjoy an evening of photographic know how.

Membership is £10 for non-competition members and £15 for those wishing to enter competitions. Fees are due from September, so why not come along and see if you like us for free, and then decide if you fancy joining us on a regular basis.
